Hug for Terri

I gave Terri a hug after church Sunday and tried to let her know that she is not going thru these times alone. I felt her reaction was just a bit less than the enthusiasm I have come to know in her. Understandable.

However, I also know that the prayers of all those who know her, and those who simply know of her, will be able to restore in her the spirit needed to defeat this disease. As much as the world of medicine knows, as skilled as her doctors are, God knows and can do more.

We in Vicksburg are exceptionally fortunate to have Terri and Ken in our midst. With God's grace and power, we will continue to have them both around here for many years to come.

Write on, Ken, my friend !!

  1. Thank you, John. We can't rush grief - after all, it's just been 5 days since this sledgehammer hit - but we are praying, and feeling the prayers.

We're not giving up. Because we are not alone.
