Thanks to Glenn and everyone else for their prayers. We still need them.
Terri and I met with the oncologist this morning after a PET scan Tuesday (a special CT scan that not only shows structure but metabolic activity).
In addition to the two known nodules, which lit up, there are now two lymph nodes in Terri's abdomen with active tumor, as well as at least 5 sesame-sized new nodules in the lungs that do not yet "light up" (though it's just a matter of time unless we act).
The cancer is back, and unless God chooses to heal us, cannot currently be cured by man.
The total amount of tumor in Terri's body is less than a teaspoon, but surgery and radiation are not options. We work tomorrow to schedule chemo. We will beat it back to buy an unknown number of years or decades.
We will not waste another day of living. We blame Satan for this, and we will not be defeated. God will hear our praises every day He lets us have on this planet. And I will love her every day I draw breath.
Your prayers lift us up, and I thank God for all of you. Please pray for protection from fear.
