We ask for your prayers for our departed brother in Christ, Ed Nierescher, who passed away last Friday of complications from a stem cell transplant that was necessary because he had leukemia and lymphoma.
He was a former member of Westwood United Methodist Church in Kalamazoo and took his Walk to Emmaus in Sturgis a few years ago. He moved to Lansing and was treasurer for the Lansing Area Emmaus Community. He leaves behind a wife and two grown children.

What Troy Said...
...Imagine that you've just won the lottery. 500 million dollars. Tax free.
Now imagine that the state has promised to match that prize for any person that you name.
Who would you pick?
Good. Now sponsor that person for the Spring Walk.
This is an amazing present, as you know. Why let it sit unopened??
God Bless,
Ken
