Downturn, they said...

I humbly ask for your prayers. Worse things have happened to people, but this has never happened to me. I got a phone call earlier today and the company's #2 man and an HR rep want to fly out tomorrow to meet me because "there is going to be some corporate restructuring" and my position will "be affected." It sounds and feels like I am being let go. I will know more tomorrow and will post more then, but for now, please pray for me and my family that I can quickly discern God's plan for me and what I am supposed to do next.

    OK - so how did it go?

    At the worst, I can say from my experience, it really isn't the end of the world. God finds ways to get you through situations like that.

    At best, you see the dawn of a new opportunity. Make the most of it.
