I was at a barbecue with Terri and her Disciple class from last year. There was the usual camraderie and friendship. Lots of smiling and laughter. Felt good.
I heard the comment "what a special bond we developed! We would have never become such good friends if we hadn't done this together."
Kinda like how I've felt about everyone I've ever gone on a Walk with.
what a wonderful feeling it is to share the Holy Spirit with someone. And (according to a theory coming together in my cloudy 7am Sunday mind) there are only a couple of requirements for it to happen:
You get together, and you study the Lord's word together.
When you take your eyes off each other and put them on the Lord, you not only grow closer to the Lord; you also begin to see others the way God sees us.
As redeemed loving creations that He wants to be close to forever.
Hmmm....
